Pompeii, Italy

Pompeii is an ancient city near modern Naples in the Campania region of Italy. Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. 

Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage site. One of the most visited sites in Italy and one of the most visited archaeological sites in the world. 

You can go back in time by walking through the preserved streets of the city. The best way to go around is by walking. Don't forget to bring your umbrella and some water.
