Florence, Italy
Florence is the capital of Italy's Tuscany region which is the home to masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. We visited some of the iconic sights like the Duomo, a cathedral dome and a bell tower by Giotto. We also visited The Galleria displays of Michelangelo's "David" sculptures.
We also visited the oldest Gelato place in Florence named Vivoli. =) Our tour guide brought us there. The line was so long. At that time I did not know yet that it was that famous. We tried it and it was really good. Eating gelato in the streets of Florence was such an experience. I just sat by the streets while having a moment with my gelato. It was so good, light and creamy. After a few years, I was browsing a book at Fully Booked about the Top 10 Best of Everything. Vivoli was voted as number 1 Gelato shop in the world. Glad that we were able to try it back then.
Beautiful Florence
